How to change the placeholder text in Google Forms?

The default placeholder text for Short Answer & Paragraph type questions is "Your answer". Google Form does not give you the option to change this default text. However, you can update the placeholder text using Formfacade's field settings.

Here's a screenshot of a Google Form with default placeholder "Your answer". Read this help article to learn how to update the placeholder text.
Open your Google Form, click on the "Add-ons" icon and select "Formfacade"
Click on "More options" in the Formfacade menu
Click on the "Customize" button in the Formfacade sidebar widget
Click on the gear icon next to the field label to open field settings screen
Enter the placeholder text and click on the "Save Changes" button
The placeholder text will be displayed as shown below
